Side Lighting For Tall Plants

[justicebzwieg]

Side lighting solves a problem that is almost unique to sativa grows. When a plant is two metres tall under a single overhead lamp, the lower half sits in shadow and produces little, but hanging a couple of bars vertically along the tent walls lights that zone properly. The lighting layout suggestions on https://hazesativaseeds.com include a diagram showing where to place side bars relative to the canopy for lines with heavy stretch. Yield from the bottom third of my plants roughly doubled after adding two modest strips.
